First Red Zone Building Underway

On the back of the strong design performance of Pacific Tower and HSBC Tower during the Christchurch Earthquakes, Structex continues to strengthen its reputation as being Christchurch’s Structural engineers with its involvement in the getting the first Red Zone Building underway.

The Press recently released an article outlining the activity in the red zone. The first piece of new building construction inside the red zone since the February 22 earthquake has begun at Ballantynes. Ballantynes on the corner of Colombo St and Cashel Mall will mark the start of the city rebuild with a concrete pour on the new first floor foundation.
