Story

Structex was started by Geoff Banks in 2003. Geoff had a vision of a highly effective small engineering team, avoiding the almost inevitable corporate remoteness and rigidity of a bigger organisation which could impede his ability to provide true value to clients.

But he also understood the benefits that come from having some scale - enabling a company to build and share knowledge, resource large projects and create efficiency through centralised support.

He realised that his team could have the best of both worlds with an "ecological" approach where growth can be propagated from a stable core, enabling the best of a large organisation without the losing the unique culture of a small team.

Geoff's vision attracted the attention of like-minded engineers who were also looking for an opportunity to provide client-centric excellence with the benefits of scale.
