Tom started at Structex permanently in November 2023 after previously completing a summer internship with the team. He is now combining his technical knowledge and experiences as a carpenter with engineering, and love solving problems along the way.

My career highlights to date for Tom include being awarded the 2023 NZIOB Next Gen Award for the Southern Region.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys time in his workshop woodworking, 3D printing, and general tinkering. He also has a passion for aviation, holding his private pilot’s licence, and regularly attend airshows around the country.
